Well Done to Andy Fewtrell and John Upshall on passing their Petrol Filling Station qualification last week. Both Andy and John will visit numerous Petrol Stations with one of our main clients, Somerfield, in their roles.
Andy is the Health and Safety Co-ordinator, whilst John is a Contracts Manager. Both Andy and John are delighted to have passed their course, which they thoroughly enjoyed, even though there was much discussion about the lunch on the course that they were both unusually disappointed with!
Steve Skuce director said "Shopfitting is a developing industry and our teams have to be qualified for all types of retail shopfits these days, Petrol filling station re-fits are increasing, as many of the big retailers are adding them as another branch to their service offering. We need to ensure our team are all qualified to ensure safety of our team and contractors. We are proud to say that all of our site team have already passed this test and are currently working on Petrol Filling Stations."
Well Done to both Andy and John who now have their Passport to Petrol Safety Cards.
The content of the Petrol Retail contractors course included Hazards on the filing station forecourt, Controlling work on the forecourt, Hazard Zone classification, Safe working practices and Documentation on site.
